"F16 - What an amazing ward!"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

I spent one night on Ward F16 at Wythenshawe Hospital after having a mastectomy with immediate reconstruction for treatment of breast cancer. I cannot believe how amazing the facilities and staff were. I lucky enough to have a private room with en suite which allowed privacy during my stay, 3 kind nurses looked after me and helped with anything I needed. My Surgeon was amazing, and visited me before surgery in my room, again in the anaesthetic room and was there waiting for me after I returned to the ward. I cannot praise Ward F16 enough for being kind, compassionate and caring during a tough time. Heroes!
