My elderly mother was a patient at Opal House for 4 weeks.
She was very frail and infirm on entry.
I wish to praise and thank the staff at Opal House for the care, compassion and kindness that they gave to my mother .
They were patient with and understanding of her difficulties and unfailingly polite and cheerful.
She could not have received better care.
In visiting her I had the opportunity to observe staff interacting with other patients and noted that they treated all the patients with respect and dignity. I cannot thank them enough and hope that the important work they do with the elderly is recognised within the hospital.
