"Angry and disappointed with Cromer minor injuries"

About: Cromer Hospital

I am still shaking with anger at the way my husband has been treated by the nurse at 6.40 today. I had to drive him back as his foot and leg are going purple and he cannot place his foot to the floor, put a "supportive footwear" on and walk without crutches. He kicked in effect a brick wall at force and because he won't scream and make a fuss they would not X-ray, why when they X-rays a lady who cause walk freely on her foot but not my husband who cannot use it at all. The nurse was very rude and it was very clear they didn't have time for us, we were nothing but polite and didn't confront their decision, when I really should have. The nurse couldn't even be bothered to open the door for him, the nurse pointed and said that way out!

My husband doesn't go to the doctors and doesn't drain the NHS service, he has paid his bational insurance every week since the age of 16 so one X-ray is not much to ask for. They were not busy, one other person was waiting on the waiting room, clearly the nurse has had a bad day. The nurse made my husband feel small, the nurse said there was not swelling, which there is, the nurse did not compare the foot with the other one, the nurse did not notice the lump on top of his foot, the welling around the side and base....they had no time . The nurse was very rude, unsympathetic and unhelpful. I feel that angry that I wish to make a formal complaint.
