What I liked

My mother spent a few days in CMU and its adjacent ward in mid May. The staff were exceptional and they are to be congratulated on their manner and patience on some very long shifts. At 87 my mother was completely shattered after learning she had had a heart attack, but the staff were kind and very helpful.

The rooms were clean and tidy and everyone on these two wards friendly and encouraging.

What could be improved

Patients who do not belong on these wards taking up beds and causing havoc for the nurses. Surely CMU should be that and not an overflow for other wards.
