What I liked
I was impressed how many professionals were involved with my Arthroscopy prior to, during/after op. I was kept informed reasons explained how things were done & what was to happen & advised what to do if any problems arose when I went home. A much nicer experience than when I had the same op 7 years ago at another hospital.The whole team worked well together.
What could be improved
The consultant who did my op queried why I had not had an MRI scan previous to op, the orignal consultant I saw had not requested this, it could possibly have sdaved time andanother op if I had
been offered this. Also the time from first being referred by GP to op was rather long, August 2009 to May 2010. I was offered op in March 2010 but could not accept that appointment.
