What I liked

the clinical and departmental administrative staff I have had contact with have been excellent and helpful in the utmost

What could be improved

The bookings system is appalling, not being connected to the national choose and book system it cannot cope without referring back to a GP or just abandons the patient. Wasteful of timeand

I hate the tax on being ill that is called parking charges. They are unneccessary and the money doesnt go to patient care so dont believe it when some overpaid apparatchik says it does. I prefer to give my money to the Golf Club and park there as there is an honesty in the transaction missing with the hospital.

I dislike seeing a junior registrar when I have an appointment with a consultant and when you ask to see the consultant you are told that you will have to wait longer than your appointed time. A lack of continuity is also caused by this reliance of junior staff and time is wasted telling them the same hing you told all the other juniors over the previous years.
