"Why not call when needed, rather than wait?"

About: Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre

(as a service user),

The work of the Beatson is superb but the time waiting around from seeing the consultant, waiting on pharmacy and receiving treatment is debilitating. Why don't they take your mobile no. and let you go off for a while and call when needed?

I feel life is already short without the waste of time sitting around waiting rooms.

I am pleased to read that you find the work of the Beatson superb.

Dear Mpositive

Please can I reassure you that we recognise and are keen to improve the overall patient experience of our service. A project commenced very recently within the Beatson specifically to review and redesign the whole system of patient flow to improve the efficiency of the service and patient experience.
