"The way my son was treated when ..."

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

What I liked

The way my son was treated when brought to A+E made what could have been a challenging experience much simpler. Being 5 and in pain, he was never going to be the easiest of patients, but the staff were wonderful and made him as comfortable as they could.

I would obviously hope never to need the services of the hospital again, but would not hesitate in coming back should the need ever arise.

Thank you to all who dealt with us.

What could be improved

The wait in A+E seemed a long time, but was made less stressful by the communication from the receptionist and staff. Peop;e don't mind waiting as long as they are kept informed of what is going on.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your treatment in the A&E department. With delays or long waiting times we ensure that patients are kept informed. Your kind comments will be passed to the A&E team and we hope your child is now feeling much better.
