What I liked

I was recently an in patient on D1, at DPOW. I do not live in Grimsby. The ward was very clean, all satff who worked on the ward, and those who provide a service to the ward, were very professional at all levels, communication was superb; the food was excellent.

What could be improved

The only thing I can say is that the pressure of delivering such a professional service was evident, not in a bad or unprofessional way, just apparent at times.

Anything else?

I have not been an in patient for almost twenty years, and was quite anxious when I was informed that I had to be taken in, to control chronic pain, which was done very swiftly. I was made to feel very welcome and nursed, in the old fashioned sense, from the moment I arrived until discharged.
