What I liked

I was taken into hospital in early hours of Monday 14th until 17th . My experience in Short Stay Unit and in Chestnut ward was amazing !. the hospital was spotlessly clean and i was treated wonderfully. However, the best thing about the experience was the staff! Without exception they were all marvelous. Everyone from the tea lady to the doctors were exceptional. The nurses in particular were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they consistently went the 'extra mile'. I even saw one nurse race out and bring a patients wife back to the hospital from the bus stop who had leave due to a marital disagreement. The nurses action not only helped her patient but subsequently saved their marriage ! I was treated with compassion and loving care throughout my stay and couldnt have asked for more.

Previously to my stay in hospital i had read negative comments about the hospital so i was apprehensive about going in there. However, i have nothing but praise for them. well done to everyone there and keep up the excellent work.
