I was sent to Coldeast for blood test, to test for a rare genetic disorder. The Phlebotomist was angry that my gp had sent me there, as the tests could not be done through them. They ignored my request for a green canular and forced a black one (the biggest one) into my arm, and kept wiggling it around to fill the 6 test tubes required for the tests they could do. They has left my arm bruised so badly I can hardly use it - and I am supposed to be going on holiday today and I can hardly drive my car! They also complained bitterly about my gp, and the PCT and hospital managers. This is not my problem and I am totally disgusted with the way they behaved. I have been left very distressed by this experience, when I was already feeling vulnerable that I may have this rare condition.
