What could be improved
Staff noise levels. After my cancer op I would have liked peace and quiet. The staff at the desk on the ward were shouting to each other as if they were in a hotel bar. This went on all day and till late at night. The cleaner also made a great deal of avoidable noise, such as slamming bin lids. I also had a long wait for a sleeping tablet which I needed because of the noise. Please train staff to respect the needs of patients who are in pain.
