"Husband has a Sarcoma"

About: Nevill Hall Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

At the end of April we were told my husband had cancer, in his liver with signs of spread to his lungs. Still no treatment has commenced, has been referred to Morriston hospital, still awaiting any response from them.

Currently admitted in Nevill Hall in the care of a gastroentology Dr, can't understand why he isn't in the care of a cancer specialist? Numerous tests, CT scans, x-rays, MRI scheduled, in the meantime, husband is getting sicker!

I am so angry, this is someones life, & it feels like no-one is really interested. This is a man that doesn't smoke, isn't a drinker....has run marathons, went to the gym & is only 53 years old, he needs some treatment....and soon! !

Thank you for taking the time to post your concerns.

We are sorry to hear that your husband is unwell and has recently been admitted to Nevill Hall Hospital.

We will pass this post onto the Gastroenterology Department at Nevill Hall Hospital. In the meantime, we would advise you to talk to the Consultant in charge of your husband's care.
