"My stay in Saunders ward"

I was taken from A & E to Saunders ward. I was in Saunders ward for about 11 days with pneumonia and irregular heartbeat. The treatment I had in PAH was very good. I don't think I would better treatment anywhere. The staff were warm and friendly, but always professional. The cleaners came in every day. They were also friendly and did their job well. The geriatrics in my ward were treated with kindness and respect. They were washed and had clean gowns and bed linen every morning. Several times a day they would be changed and freshened up. After my stay, I still needed intravenous antibiotics, so when I came home I had Patient at Home Care, with nurses coming in every day and the doctor phoning every day.

Thank you for the excellent care I received during my stay, the nurses from Patients at Home and the aftercare I still need.
