What could be improved

I needed to park the car whilst dropping my Mum off for treatment and return - I could not use the car park ticket for the day and had to pay twice. When using the Disabled bay I was unable to estimate the length of stay and subsequently over paid drastically. The charges on the car park are unfair.

Anything else?

Th newish treatment centre seems to be well equipped and managed which is great for day patients I feel sorry for the ones who have to stay in overnight or for several weeks, Some of the wards are like something you would expect in a third world country. Dark depressing wards that impact on the staff and patients, often smelly and look unkempt I would hate to be a patient here and feel desperately sorry for some of the old folk I see stranded in the beds here. It must be dreadfully demotivating for the staff who these patients rely on. I work at a college which seems to have more money spent on it than hospitals and whilst Education is important I think Health should be a priority, it must be more important that a hospital is kept in a hygenic state than say a school or a college. Is money being spent wisely at Good Hope ? logo
