What I liked

The hospital and staff were excellent and I had 5 star treatment throughout my stay. If only all hospitals were like this. Food was excellent and served with care, a flower on the tray and a doily. It made such a difference to have a choice of menu. The nursing staff were very kind and caring along with the physio. I have had two follow up phone calls, much appreciated.

What could be improved

Improvements, the follow up at Brighton to have the plaster removed. and air boot fitted. Well that was not at all helpful, they did not seem to know if I should be partial load bearing or not. Any questions I asked did not get answered properly. In the end I phoned H.Heath and spoke to the Physio Simon who arranged for me to have physio in Eastbourne where they had all the notes from H.Heath so as to advise me on the next stage. Improvements - have the follow up at H.Heath not Brighton please.

Anything else?

I was pleased with the second follow up at Brighton only because I saw my surgeon who, of course, was able to advise me. I see him again at Brighton in three months time. Wish it was H.Heath.
