"Treated with the utmost respect"

About: Barnsley Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I stayed at Barnsley District General Hospital in the day clinic for the removal of a cataract. I was treated as a person and not a number, the medical staff were very good. Nothing could have been better.

I was ill on the day I attended and I was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I am also deaf and all this was taken into consideration when I was informed of my treatment.

I would like to thank the Opthalmic staff from the receptionist through to the surgeon.
