"I have never felt so reassured and calmed by someone"

I went to the Urgent care facility in Nottingham last week on Friday 12th May, having excruciating pain in my jaw and wisdom tooth which began 2 weeks prior. 2 rounds of antibiotics and full pain relief from my local dentist had not seemed to work and it only got worse leading up to me coming to the walk in after consulting with 111 first and my dental practice being closed.

I wanted to write my review on here so that other people can read it and be reassured that they will be in very capable and professional hands when they may feel at their weakest. The dentist service is top class and the people who work here are amazing. I was so scared and in a lot of pain when I arrived but after checking in at the desk, I was seen by the nurse first who was a lovely young woman - she listened to my full story, made notes and was really calming and helpful when I was in quite a state very upset and scared and in a lot of pain. I was fitted in and seen by the dentist within a couple of hours.

Both the nurse and dentist were absolute angels. I am so sorry I never got the dentists name but can I just say I have never felt so reassured and calmed by someone. Her manner of dealing with me was incredible and I felt like I could trust her which I have never felt with any other dentist before. she listened to everything and took xrays and explained everything to me taking her time and not rushing anything. We made the decision for her to extract the tooth which she did with expert precision and minimal discomfort, constantly reassured me throughout. It has been 5 days since and I can say I am healing pretty well and my extraction site had no bleeding and seems to be really clean and healing nicely. the pain in my jaw seems to be slowly getting better and I can only thank them so much for their help.
