I was outraged by the way I was spoken to by the A & E Nurse I was directed to, I was made to feel stupid, intemmidated and like I was only there to waste valuable NHS services! I have never ever wanted to waste anyones time, infact a hospital is the last place I want to be, but on this occassion I felt I really needed help, instead I got put with a nurse who seemed to want to chuck everything I said to her back in my face, telling me I must have one thing even though I said no it really is not that because I have had that before and its not the same symptons, only to give me something I did not need then to be told by the doctor later it was not what the nurse had said! So basically I got put with a nurse who did not want to listen and who seemed blatently not wanting to care and did not treat me as an indervidual who also gave me something I did not need! Secondly while I was waiting in the A & E front reception, an elderly lady of around 75 asked the receptionist to kindly get a doctor as she cant breath and she really could not you could see it clearly, to which a reply came as "yes what is your name" three minutes late still waiting she got called in anyway to the nurse I had before, three minutes is a long time to struggle and I found this appualing especially when I spotted doctors and nurses walking around in no rush!
