"My Fathers recent care at the Glenfield Hospital"

About: Glenfield Hospital / Cardiology

My Father ,Richard Haynes was hospitalised at the Glenfield from Dec 2016 to March 2017. His care was a very high standard, we felt the nursing staff, doctors and specialists were wonderful and kept us the family informed about important decsions. I visited him there nearly every 2 days so got a good feel for his care. He was in Ward 31a mostly, but due to a cardiac arrest in January he moved to ward 28.

I would like to thank the staff in these wards wholeheartedly for their unfailing care & commitment to their patients, and am sure I speak for all my family. He was moved to St.Lukes in March for palliative care & respite and he passed away on 1st April.

I have wanted to say a big thankyou to you all as you give everything and he could see that in his last months he got the best treatment.

He came home for less than 24 hrs and passed that night.

Dear Chrissie,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.

Firstly, we are really sorry to hear about the loss of your father and send our thoughts to you and your family.

We are however really please to hear that he was well looked after during his stay by all of our staff on Ward 31 and 28 at Glenfield Hospital. We will pass your positive feedback on to everyone in the team.

Kind regards
