"The support staff who provided ..."

What I liked

The support staff who provided refreshments to the patients and collected the menu choices were always friendly, helpful and took the time to chat and laugh with the patients, a big plus point in any hospital.

What could be improved

Definitely communication could be improved between the staff nurses and family members. When I phoned to ask about how my relative was progressing I was sometimes met with a certain measure of hostility which I found quite strange, as presumably the hospital would be happy to impart information about your own relative who is in their care.

Anything else?

Overall I think the care my relative received was fairly good, however the night staff did not record one of the falls my relative had, which I believe they should have.
