"Care following bilateral knee replacement"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Pain Management

(as the patient),

Following a bilateral knee replacement I spent 4 days on ward F1 at Royal Hallamshire Hospital Sheffield. The level of care was outstanding. The nursing staff had excellent control of my pain so that I was able to work very quickly and successfully with therapy staff. All staff on the ward were very friendly and supportive and all contributed to a very enjoyable stay. I really don't think there is anything about my whole experience from initial consultant appointment to my rehabilitation 3 weeks now since surgery that could be improved. A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to my progress to date - which has been so much better than I dared to hope for.
