"Ward 10 cardiology day unit and cardiac Theatres"

About: University Hospital (Coventry)

my husband was admitted to have an angiogram, the support worker was excellent they explained everything reassured my husband nothing was too much trouble . They were a N V Q assessor and the reason I write about them is unfortunately I could not Rember their name but they should be a nurse.

The nurses were friendly except one who looked miserable as if they did not want to be there .

My husband explained the theatre staff were very friendly and supportive and reassuring a big thank you to them . The only negative comments I have it's a cardiology ward I thought they would promote healthy eating on the ward not biscuits and cakes a bowl of fruit would be ideal.

Thank you once again.

Dear Kate,

Thank you very much for providing feedback on your husband’s experience of Cardiology at University Hospital earlier this month. I hope that your husband is continuing to recover well after his treatment.

I was really pleased to read that your husband received excellent care from the support worker and nurses, as well as the theatre staff, whilst being treated in our hospital. I will pass your comments to the Cardiology management team so they can thank the staff who cared for your husband and look into your suggestion how we can better promote healthy eating on ward.

The Trust is grateful for all feedback, positive or negative, as it means we can better understand what is important to our patients.

Thank you for leaving your comments on NHS Choices.
