"I can't get to activity events all of the time"

I can't get to the activity events all the time because they are short staffed. Sometimes some patients get brought back from activities before the time allotted which is not fair.

Thank you for raising this issue. We are aware that some of the activities planned, particularly the leisure activities, are causing some issues in relation to escorting patients to take part.

I am meeting with the Events Coordinator, and the nurse managers, to come up with a plan for ensuring that we adequately staff these events, by reviewing in advance how many escorting staff are needed, and working as a site to support the wards that are struggling to get patients over to the events. I hope that you will begin to see the impact of this planning.
