What I liked

What a different world private hospitals are!

This private hospital has a fantastic and exceptionally clean reception area with kind smiling receptionist. I was even shown to the waiting area which was furnished with extremely comfortable seating.

What could be improved

As I wish never to return to the NHS hospital that I've attended for 10 years, my GP referred me, as an NHS patient to this private hospital see a surgeon who would hopefully, repair my Inguinal Hernia.

Unfortunately, it appears to me that if you are in need of an operation or another medical procedure which is to be carried out on the NHS, then no consultant is prepared to listen to the needs of their would be patient.

I NEED keyhole surgery so that I can be up and about ASAP!

However, this particular surgeon will only operate on me at his other hospital with his full back up team (Slice & Dice as I call it). Why?

Me thinks it is his way or no way as it will be quicker and cheaper and he will be able to return to his more lucrative clientèle list?

Anything else?

At least I know where to go after I've won the Lotto jackpot!
