"Urgent care centre At Croydon University Hospital"

I brought my husband in to Croydon University Hospital and was referred to the Urgent Care Centre.

The wait time was supposedly 1-2 hours which automatically gives you false hope that you may be seen within 1 hour.

You are seen quickly by a nurse who wastes time asking the same questions the nurse in the A & E book in kiosk asked.

I brought my husband in with an eye injury and ended up waiting over 2 hours while the doctors pranced around either hovering over the receptionists or making cups of tea.

If the doctors actually focussed on the job at hand people would be seen and dealt with quicker.

The service is appalling with no prioritising mechanisms in place so whether a person has hurt their foot or you have injured a sensitive organ such as the eye makes no difference whatsoever.

Terrible service, please avoid going there you will be left to wait and hang on forever.

Am so annoyed that we had to check in at A & E and then had to complete a stupid form at the urgent care centre too !

Do not waste your time here go somewhere else !
