What I liked

I found this a clean efficient organisation from my very first appointment until the completion of my operation. At my initial appointment I have written off the day, but everything was completed in just over two hours by pleasant,efficient and helpful staff. The pre-operation and after care was also above criticism. Like many patients who do not have a lot of experience of hospital I was very apprehensive before my visit to hospital. I have no desire to go into hospital again, but if I did I would certainly choose Barlborough if the procedure required was within their area of operation.

What could be improved

The only weak area was the food, but the advantages made hospital food a small price to pay.

We take patient feedback very seriously and hospital food is an area of our service where we have recently made a number of improvements thanks to patient suggestions.
