About: Good Hope Hospital / Orthodontics

(as a service user),

I had my final appointment with my consultant orthodontist and oral surgeon. Prior to the appointment, I reflected on the life changes I have encountered whilst being under the care of some of the most caring, compassionate and professional people in the health service.

I started treatment when I was 18. Since then, I have finished school, learnt to drive, went to uni, dropped out of uni, worked and went to uni again to qualify as a nurse. I understand the qualities needed to work in hospitals and I am somewhat inspired by the qualities the people in this department demonstrated.

The nurses are friendly, welcoming and put you at ease, whilst the consultants are incredibly skilled, supportive and endeaver to answer all you queries. I have been thoughtly impressed by this team. I have now finished my treatment and am delighted by the results. I thank my orthodontist, Mr Panesar and My surgeon, Mr Williams, alongside the dental nurses and surgical team for their efforts. I wish them well and cannot recommend them more highly.

It is heart-warming to read that you have been inspired by the qualities of the staff in the Orthodontics Team and I am sure that once I highlight your feedback to the team, they will also be very touched and pleased to have been such inspiration to you and your choice of career.
