"My mother was treated with genuine care and compassion"

About: Solihull Hospital Solihull Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

My mother was treated with genuine care and compassion by the dedicated, hardworking and skilled doctors and nurses initially in emergency care and then for three days in the HDU where she passed away.

The NHS are regularly criticised so I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all concerned.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding the care and treatment your mother received in HDU at Solihull Hospital, earlier this year, as I appreciate that this will have been a very difficult time for you and your family.

I am pleased to read that you felt the staff treated your mother with genuine care and compassion.

I totally agree with you, the team is incredibly hardworking and dedicated to their profession, so it is nice for them to receive the recognition.

I will forward your posting to the senior management team and I will ask that it is shared with the staff, so they are aware of your comments.

Once again thank you for taking the time to provide your comments, as all feedback is very important to us.
