Reception on Edith Dare Ward was a nightmare. They do not have a pleasant demeanour and are far from welcoming. My daughter had traumatic delivery and needed her mum. They would not let me in, not even for 5mins, said I would put all the mums and babies at risk! I asked why I was no risk after 3pm! They even threatened to call security if I did not leave the ward!! This was my first grandchild and the memory will always overshadow the joy I felt. They should not be allowed to "greet" people in such a manner. Their attitude is such that I am sure I am not alone in being left with a shadow across what should have been the happiest of memories.
