I attended The Thirlestaine Breast Centre in Cheltenham today to have a breast lump looked at. This was my third visit to the clinic in the last five years for this reason so I knew what to expect.
Despite obviously being a very busy clinic it's really well organised and I have always found that I am dealt with very quickly and there is minimal wait time between seeing the Consultant and going for an ultrasound.
Today I saw a lovely Consultant and then went down to have an ultrasound. There were two Doctors in the room for that and both were happy to chat about what they were looking at on the screen. Just like with my previous two visits the service was excellent from all staff; doctors and HCAs.
It turned out I had several cysts which were aspirated which is actually really interesting to watch being done.
So thanks once again for another positive and reassuring visit to to The Breast Clinic.
