"Psychiatry"

About: Tavistock And Portman NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

Psychiatrists try to be too shrude, they end up knowing more than they say and saying more than they know. I never had a consultation where the "doctor" had said "This is what I think is wrong, this is why I think it and this is what I think the solution is". Instead they ask questions and whatch your body lanuage, once they see your uncomfortable they continue with it. The result is you end up feeling like crap after every consultation and end up treating the "doctors" with disregard. Once they think they have identified a problem, the only solution they have a drugs which are debilitating. Alchemy is a good metaphor for this practice (ironicly not mine). A little honesty wouldn't go a miss. It's expected in any other practice!
