What I liked

I had chosen this hospital to have my baby in, prior to having her we went round and they were happy to show us around and see the facilities and we were very impressed. It was more like a hotel than a hospital. When i came to give birth we were in an excellent room and hadgreat care, my husband was made to feel very involved too. It was my first child so i was nervous but i was made to feel relaxed. Unfortunatley the birth didnt go as planned but i was kept informed all the way through. After a long time i had to be transferred to burton hospital, this was done quickly and easily from Samuel Johnson and i never felt frightened or not informed. The staff were very efficient friendly but professional. After having my baby i was told i could have gone back to Samuel Johnson if i wanted to to have a rest and get help with breast feeding. In the end i went home but having this option was fantastic.

What could be improved

Nothing i couldnt recommend it enought to any one else thinking of having their baby there. Especially as a first time mum. Facilities are excellent and its very clean.
