I was referred to a Doctor at the freeman I attended a consultation and was told I needed a CT scan and I received an appointment 2 weeks later in January. I was extremely anxious about getting the CT scan done as I suffer from anxiety and was scared to go in the tunnnel, when I got to the hospital I was taking in to a X-ray room and an X-ray was done of my stomach, I told the nurse I thought I was having a CT scan and they said no a was just having the X-ray. I then got an appointment for March and I then received a letter saying this clinic was cancelled. I have now received a letter stating I have failed to attend a CT scan when I did and the doctor has wrote to my doctor and said I failed to attend the CT scan. What a disgrace so now I still don't no what is wrong with me because someone has made a mistake. I was happy when I got referred to the freeman as I had heard good things about the hospital but now I will never trust another doctor again. This is not the first time the NHS have failed me.
