"Cannot fault ward 2012"

About: Homerton University Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

Having recently undergone hip replacement surgery, I cannot fault the way I was treated at Homerton Hospital.

Everyone, the consultant surgeon and the team of orthopaedic specialists, the anaesthetist, the team in recovery, and absolutely everyone who looked after me on ward 2012 - nurses, physiotherapists, doctors was brilliant.

My needs were anticipated, so I didn't need to ask for anything.

The arrangements for my discharge, transport home, and aftercare by visiting nurses and physiotherapists, was taken care of for me.

The ward was clean and comfortable.

Although, I would rather not have needed a new hip, given that need, I could not have received better care.

I will choose Homerton when the other hip needs replacing.
