What I liked
The whole experience was excellent. I had a knee replacement on Thursday and discharged two days later, pain-free and mobile.I'd done a lot of gym work on the bad leg before I went which I'm sure helped a lot.
It's such a happy place, where there seem to be two main priorities, infection control and patient comfort. Everybody from porter to senior consultants always seemed eager to be kind, pleasant and join in some friendly banter. The day of the operation was even a pleasant experience (honestly!!!).I wish I had enough space to thank everybody individually.
So if you need to have a knee or hip replaced, then I couldn't recommend this place more highly

Just for general information, Orange mobile phones can't get a signal (not the hospital's fault because other networks are ok) and DAB radios don't work either. But at least we are allowed to take these things.
Plenty of free parking as well, which makes a pleasant change
