What an unbelievable experience. I was refered to the Peninsula Treatment Centre by my GP for severe pain in my right knee. I was seen by a really nice consultant who organised a MRI scan for me, After having the scan I returned to see the same consultant for the results. I could not believe the amount of trouble he went to explaining what was wrong with me, he used the computer imaging, diagrams, props etc to explain the exact problem and what was required to put the injury right. Nothing was too much trouble. He arranged for me to have an arthroscopy. When I attended the treatment centre for the operation the whole experience was amazing. I was made to feel really special and enjoyed brilliant conversations and exchanged jokes with all the staff involved. I was kept informed at all times about what was going to be done and asked if i had any concerns. I spoke to all the staff who were going to be in the theatre and really made to feel at ease. I was asked if I wished to see the operation being carried out and said yes, the surgeon could not have been happier. All the way through the op I was kept up to date with everything and felt I was the most important person in the world. The recovery room was the next stop and again what a pleasure to be there. Then back to the ward. Food glorious food and a cup of tea and more tea, paradise. The staff on the ward were excellent again nothing was too much trouble. I even over stayed the day case so was moved to an overnight room, even this didn't cause any concern the staff just moved me, no waiting for the right person for the right job, everybody just got on with it. Then time to go home. Everything was explained to me with all questions answered perfectly. I still need to go back for a follow up but I can't wait!!!. This treatment centre is the best I have ever been to and the service could not have been improved. The staff are a credit to their profession. Well done to everyone and THANKYOU

How lucky we are to have a service like this in Plymouth. I would recommend them anyone. First Class Service well done all of you. Keep up the good work.
