"Walking difficulties and my Parkinsons"

About: Brooksby Day Hospital / Occupational Therapy

(as the patient),

My GP referred me to Brooksby because of walking difficulties and my Parkinsons. I am extremely grateful to my GP and the team there at Brooksby for getting me mobile again. On my last visit I also saw the Parkinson’s nurse and am very glad to know she will be starting her clinic at Brooksby again as Prestwick is not so easy to get to now.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Naval958,

I am glad to hear your mobility is getting better, it must make such a difference in so many aspects of your life. It is also good to hear that you don't have to take the journey to Prestwick now. That is quite a distance to go, even when in good health, with good mobility.

Thank you for taking the time to share this with us, I know staff like to hear positive feedback, particularly when their treatment has helped so much.

I hope your mobility continues to improve,

Best wishes,

Eunice
