What I liked
This was our 2nd child born at queen charlottes my first being delivered in 2005.All the staff we came into contact with were polite and made us feel like we were totally involved with any decision making on our behalf.the night staff were particulary helpful and kind and didnt make me feel like asking for help was an issue. We felt the staff in general supported our choices as parents without feeling bullied into any decision we made. The wards were quiet without lots of visitors wandering around because of the swine flu restrictions which initially was a disapointment not to have visitors besides birthing partners but proved to be great in the long run for us.I recieved great physio care from a nurse who was a total delight to come into contact with .A very much improved enviroment since our time there 4 years ago.
What could be improved
communication between staff could have been better( confusion between different sections of the hospital )
Anything else?
something needs to done about the awful parking problem-walking 10 minutes with symphsis pubis disorder not much fun to say the least.
