What I liked
Good quality of care and very clean. Nursing, care, houskeeping and catering staff all very pleasant and friendly.
What could be improved
There are not enough nursing staff, to give the one to one attention that you would expect at a private hopsital You often feel like you are bothering them if you buzz and ask for something. The staff and consultants, don't seem to communicate and there needs to be greater communication with patients. If the consultant for example has left instructions for tests, then the staff, should discuss these with the patients, rather than just assuming that the they know. it would also be good to know what time a consultant is coming into see, they should be informing the nursing staff, so they can tell the patients. Communciation seems to be poor.
Although food was good, some of the basic menu choices were limited (curry fish and pie etc) and the same every day "chefs special" too rich.
Decor and rooms need updating. More information on the facilities in the room would be useful, such as wifi etc. Also would be good if they could offer some basics like hairdryer, newspapers etc.
