"I Can not praise the care enough"

About: Lings Bar Hospital

Having spent a few weeks in the QMC on a “temporary winter” ward where the staff were never the same two days running my 83 Dad was transferred to Lings bar. I can not praise the staff and the care may Dad was given enough. My Mum practically moved in too so she could be with Dad and the care and consideration she was given was beyond anything we could have expected. I would like to thank the staff for everything they did to make Dad comfortable in his last few days, I wish he had been moved there sooner. The atmosphere is just right and even though I assume the staff are very busy Dads room was peaceful it was almost as though the pace slowed down as you passed through the door. When Dad passed away, the care continued, the staff looked after Dad in a dignified manner and the family were given the opportunity to take the time to say their good byes.

Thank you for your posting , at what must be a difficult time for you and your family.

I’m very pleased your

Dad received a high standard of care , and the team supported you all as a family during this sad time .

Staff work hard to ensure patients receive the best possible care and I will ensure your comments are shared with the ward teams.

Many thanks

Deborah
