What I liked

after several weeks of living on pain killers i managed to get enough courage up to come to the dental hospital you see apart from a terrible phobia with anything medical i have allergic reactions to some medication so i was advised to go to the dental hospital for help they were no help at all just said it was luck of the draw if i got seen to, i can queue up all morning and might be called then again i might not be, so in the mean time i have got to suffer with the pain and i don't know how much longer i can, i can't eat or drink only through a straw its driving me mad.

What could be improved

to listen to people who are suffering and maybe work more hours you end the clinic at 12 pain doesn't

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you were not seen as you had expected when you visited Birmingham Dental Hospital. It would seem from your description that you visited the Primary Care walk-in service, which has a limited number of appointments available each day and that on the day and time that you visited there were no appointments available. I am sorry if this was not fully explained to you at the time.

You have described that you have a phobia. Birmingham Dental Hospital offers a Dental Phobia Service for people who are particularly anxious about visiting a dentist. If you wish to be referred to this service, please discuss this with either your GP (doctor) or your General Dental Practitioner (dentist).
