What I liked
IMy thanks for the skills of the surgeon and his team and those of the anaethetist with whom I enjoyed a conversation on and off during the procedure. The nursing was of a calibre one always hopes for, while the physiotherapists worked to encourage me to 'get up and go'! My plans to do exactly that came to fruition a few months later with a walk up Hay Tor and then in May this year the long-held ambition to climb the mast of a sailing ship, though I only managed half. Plans for further adventures with JST somewhere in the Aegean with more masts to climb, decks to scrub and ropes to heave are for next year. Finally my congratulations to all who contribute to the outstanding cleanliness of the whole hospital.
What could be improved
Post hospital physiotherapy with a more hands-on approach.
Anything else?
Thank you 'Peninsula' for your care; you have made my plans possible.
