"Coral ward."

About: Langley Green Hospital

Firstly I would like to thank all the staff on coral ward who looked after my brother.

The ward was clean, welcoming and bright with a friendly atmosphere.

The outside space was kept clean and is a very good addition.

I would say that communication could be better, my brother was left with stitches for a lot longer that he should have been.

But that said the staff are over worked and done there very best given the circumstances.

It would be helpful if patients family's are given a little more info on what is and isnt allowed to be brought in, as it seems to be a bit inconsistent.

Overall the staff treated my brother with respect and dignity, he was made to feel safe and welcomed. There was always someone available if he needed any assistance.

Wards like this are never 'nice' but the staff on coral ward do there best with what they have.
