I was sent to see a neurologist in Salford Royal via a different consultant in a different department.
The process to see them was very quick and efficient and I found them courteous, engaging and thorough.
The consultant was pleasant to talk to and made me feel at ease and included in the decisions being made regarding what was happening.
I had several tests performed and all staff, from desk staff to nurses to consultants were equally as helpful and approachable.
The other department I initially visited which led to the neurology consultation was metabolic medicine and my goodness...what an amazing doctor I had.
The doctor was so very easy to talk to, made great effort in ensuring they understood all that was going on with me symptom wise and took the time to listen without rushing me or making me feel like just another statistic but an individual with individual problems.
The doctor was very encouraging in making me feel I was in the best hands and made me feel they would get to the bottom of my problem no matter what it took.
Showed genuine concern for my suffering and even their reports which were sent to my GP were very detailed and an accurate account of our consultation which, unfortunately with other doctors in other hospitals....was never the case.
I cannot praise Salford Royal enough and each time I have been, I rave for days after about how extremely efficient, caring and friendly all staff are.
Superb!
If I paid privately ( as I have done on several occasions) I would not receive better treatment that that at Salford Royal. X
I have visited over 20 hospitals in my lifetime and can honestly say that Salford Royal is bey far the best and consistent in their care and approach.
Astounded at the excellent service.
"Best hospital I've attended by far"
