"Southend hospital shopland ward"

I could not fault the care and the attention I had through my hip replacement but one night myself and two other patients were very alarmed about another patient who's pain was going beyond 1-10-----10 . The night team were very sluggish in responding even with us three buzzing and moaning about the situation .after an hour a doctor came to his rescue .when u hear someone shouting for2 hours "im in so much pain I'm gonna die " the situation became distressing , thankfully it turned out well by the morning .It seemed a bit barbaric in today's day and age we can quickly deal with pain ,and that help should have been applied sooner
