"Very helpful, friendly and caring place"

The place was cleaned every day, the staff were caring, helpful and friendly although some of the time their true feeling were shown a little for example their anger, upset or distress which could make patients worsen although the feelings are understandable.

I had full involvmemt in decisions and was told everything that was happening or that was going to happen.

The staff cooperated well but sometimes there was no cooperation during meal times and patients were not told that food was ready and therefor missing a meal.

The outside area for females and males is joined by a see through fence and communication could be made leading to rude remarks (to me personally) and discussion of plans for example smoking plans and the men or women making cigarettes for eachother and passing them through the fence with a lighter.

I dont think it would be the right thing to make a memeber of staff monitor outside just maybe a net over the top of each outside area to stop things being thrown over and a solid fence to stop harassment and passing things through.

A net would help over the top of the outside of the hospital areas because some patients were throwing other patients belongings and fruit which could hit cars and was getting damaged, lost and broken.
