"The whole thing was very smooth and professional"

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary / General surgery

(as the patient),

Just a quick thank you - arrived at 9am for a "walk in " X ray and was in and out in half an hour. Delightful trainee welcomed me and did most of the procedure with a little help from her supervisor and the whole thing was very smooth and professional. Parking, of course, was a nightmare. All of the disabled bays full at 9am.

Really disappointed that nobody at the trust have read this, 10 month on. It was, after all, a compliment, a sometimes rare thing.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave your kind words regarding your X-ray at the RVI. We understand that imaging can be stressful and our staff endeavour to make the whole procedure as straightforward as possible. Staff are always encouraged by such positive feedback, and this is always shared with them as soon as it is received. Please accept our apologies for not responding to your original communication in a timely manner.

We are also sorry to hear that you experienced difficulties with access to disabled parking. We do recognise that the number of spaces is limited and there is a high demand on all our sites. We are constantly evolving the car parking systems in place to provide an appropriate parking solution.

Once again please accept our apologies, for this delayed response.
