I would like to express my thanks to Jamie, who I spoke to in the early morning hours (around 3am). My daughter was very poorly and cried inconsolably, whilst I was on the phone with 111. Jamie was talking to me in a polite and calming way. At the end of the call I was assured the doctor will call us soon. He actually did within the next 15 minutes.
I was very distressed (as unwell myself) and I guess because of the way the phone conversation went and the manner with what Jamie was talking to me gave me a lot of comfort and I managed to calm down as I knew there was someone out there, who cares and we will be helped.
