What I liked

Modern clean comfortable interior, efficient, friendly organised and nicely laid out without being too sprawling. Easy free parking . Superb canteen 'Docky Box' (try the prawn baguette!) and well stocked thrift shop.

What could be improved

Local transport to and from the hospital

I would like to see it become a gneral hospital with proper casualty as Addenbrookes is 3 modes of public transport and an all day chaotic stressfull experience for me.

Anything else?

The casualty is small injuries only but I have always been seen within half an hour. The staff seem very happy and relaxed partly because this is as yet not too busy as it is not being used to its fullest potential.

Thank you for your comments on your visit to the Princess of Wales. Whilst it is unlikely that the hospital will develop into a general hospital site, we are currently working with NHS Cambridgeshire – which funds NHS Care locally – to identify services that could be shifted from the acute hospital setting into more accessible, community based settings such as the Princess of Wales.
